Father’s Day Gift Ideas
Howdy folks!
As Father’s Day approaches, I gave my classic “Don’t give dad whiskey stones!” rant. Which naturally prompted the “Well what then?!” conversation haha. So here it goes…
For the whiskey loving dads…
Whiskey rock glasses — amazing for sipping whiskey straight or enjoying a cocktail.
Glencairn glasses — perfect for whiskey sipping, these classic glasses pull more flavor out of the whiskey.
Cairn caps — for the dads that enjoy dissecting the flavors of whiskey. The caps trap the smell within the glass.
Glencairn class cleaner — since dad’s big meaty hands may not fit into those little glasses.
Nos’r whiskey tasting glass — Glencairn glasses kicked up a notch. They’re insulated and are my go to whiskey tasting glass.
NEAT whiskey tasting glasses — top of the line when it comes to whiskey tasting. Whenever I want to taste as many notes as possible in a whiskey, this is my go to glass.
Ice molds — for optimal whiskey sipping
The Bourbon Bible book — dig into some whiskey history and learn a few new cocktails.
Pro tip: if your dad loves whiskey tasting, buy each type of whiskey glass and have him put the same whiskey in each. Each glass of whiskey will taste a bit different due to the different glass shapes. This exercise always drives home the beauty of whiskey.
Cigar loving dads…
A nice humidor box — helps keep their cigars in tip top shape for optimal enjoyment.
Coffee dads…
Air tight coffee bean container — my partner purchased this container for me years ago and it’s still one of my absolute favorite things. Keeps the beans incredibly fresh.
Burr coffee bean grinder — my beloved. It has upped my pour over game and is now a daily part of my morning routine.
Ember temperature controled coffee mug — no more lukewarm coffee for papa!
Miscellaneous dads…
Waterproof speaker — I absolutely adore this speaker. It can be used daily in the shower or out and about on an adventure. Compact enough to carry almost anywhere and it packs some solid sound.
Larger waterproof speaker — Another absolutely amazing option when size limits aren’t an issue.
Foot massager — I was skeptical on if I would love this thing, but it’s been a staple in my household for going on 4 years now haha. It’s a great way to relax after a long day.
